WINS Academy Ambassador Programme Launched!

The World Institute for Nuclear Security is proud to announce the launch of the WINS Academy Ambassador Programme to help promote professional certification and demonstrable competence for personnel with accountabilities for nuclear security throughout the world. The primary role of a WINS Academy Ambassador is to promote the WINS Academy to individuals in their country and region.

We are delighted that the following WINS Certified Nuclear Security Professionals have been designated Academy Ambassadors for their respective countries:

  • Denis Scheehl – France Nuclear Safety Coordinator for AREVA Projects
  • Dr. Alpana Goel – India Acting Director & Head of the Institute of Nuclear Science & Technology at Amity University
  • Taha Laghouazi – Morocco President of the University Ibn Tofail INMM Student Chapter
  • Adamu Abdul – Nigeria Assistant Director at the Nigerian Nuclear Regulatory Authority
  • Dr. Ivan Knezevic – Serbia – Assistant Research Professor and Radiation Safety Officer at the Public Company “Nuclear Facilities of Serbia.”

We welcome our Ambassadors’ involvement in promoting certified professional development in their countries, and look forward to working with them in the implementation of these activities.
