Second WINS Academy Alumni Advancing Nuclear Security Challenge: Communicating in an Emergency

We are proud to launch the 2nd WINS Academy Alumni Advancing Nuclear Security Challenge! The WINS Academy Alumni Challenges aim to stimulate reflection and obtain diverse perspectives on how the Academy is being used to support the implementation of best nuclear security practices worldwide.

The Challenge

This Second Challenge invites you to reflect on how to communicate in an emergency and is based on the WINS Academy Module for Communication with Civil Society. You can click here to download the What Not to Do in an Emergency scenario and related questions. Please do not include any sensitive security information in your submission. Please note that the Challenge is exclusively open to WINS Certified Nuclear Security Professionals (Academy graduates that have passed both the Foundation module exam and one Elective module exam). Participants are requested submit their contribution by August 31, 2016.

Awards

The winning participant will win a travel grant to attend the WINS workshop of her/his choice, and the second and third winners will obtain free Academy Elective vouchers. After the competition, WINS will display the 3 winning submissions on the WINS website and might include parts of them in promotional material distributed during WINS trainings and workshops.
