Consultancy assistance needed for the WINS Academy

At the 2014 Nuclear Security Summit (NSS), WINS launched the Academy, an initiative to provide managers with accountability for nuclear security an opportunity to receive professional development and become certified in their security competence. It is the first online nuclear security management programme in the world and testing is available in over 175 countries.

As the core of the Academy programme we are drafting professional development modules that teach security as a strategic, operational activity to be implemented across the organisation as a fundamental aspect of risk management and corporate reputation. We are seeking consultancy assistance for drafting the last remaining module on Security Programme Management. The consultant will be responsible for drafting approximately 6-8 units for the module: each unit consists of written content, examples, case studies, assignment, quizzes and links to further readings. We estimate that the completed module draft will be around 150 pages in length, including quizzes and further readings.

Drafting of WINS Academy Modules is challenging and requires excellent writing skills, diligence, and the ability to meet deadlines. Therefore, we are asking applicants to draft a written case study of no more than 500 words by 20 July 2014. If you have any questions about the scope of work. please contact us at: thewinsacademy@wins.org.

More information about the consultancy can be found in the attachment.
