Women in Nuclear Meets Atoms for Peace – In cooperation with the IAEA [External event]

Women in Nuclear (WiN) Global is a worldwide non-profit association made up mostly of female professionals working in various fields in the nuclear industry. WiN Global aims to promote understanding and public awareness of the benefits of nuclear and radiation applications through a series of active networks, both national and international. It has approximately 25 000 members from more than 100 countries, organized in national, regional and international chapters.

Every year, a chapter of WiN Global organizes the Annual conference, which is a unique occasion for the WiN Global community to meet. The 23rd WiN Global Annual Conference will be organized by the WiN IAEA Chapter in cooperation with the IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency). This event will take place in Vienna, Austria, at the IAEA Headquarters on 24 – 28 August 2015.

The aim of the conference is to highlight the vital role that women play in the nuclear industry and provide opportunities for women to network, exchange ideas, attend technical visits, obtain the most up-to-date information on nuclear programmes and facilities around the world, and learn about employment opportunities at the IAEA. The conference will be attended by over 300 female professionals from all over the world, with international high-level keynote speakers.
