CRDF Global and the Partnership for Nuclear Security (PNS) are challenging students and young professionals in the nuclear field to develop creative multimedia approaches to promote nuclear security culture and nuclear security best practices. The competition accepts submissions featuring innovative uses of technology and audio visual engagement to promote nuclear security at nuclear facilities, research laboratories, or educational institutions.
We are pleased that four WINS Academy Alumni and two Academy participants have been selected in the initial review round for their innovative and creative submissions. These Alumni and participants are now competing in the second round, which opens the competition to the public for voting. Scores will then be combined with those by a panel of expert judges to select the winners. First place winners will be eligible to receive travel support to an international nuclear security event. Second and third place winners will be eligible to receive professional development scholarships.
