The production, titled “Pay Up or Melt Down”, centred on a cyber-crisis at the fictional Sweetwater Nuclear Power Plant. It was designed to allow the audience to experience the power of theatre to challenge thinking and stimulate action.
More than 100 diplomats, representatives of government and other conference attendees from over 20 countries joined together to enjoy a thought-provoking evening of theatre that examined issues and attitudes regarding nuclear security.
Sponsored by the Government of Canada and performed by AKT Productions (London), the show explored misconceptions about cybersecurity and the importance of effective oversight by senior management. Between scenes, a professional facilitator guided discussions with the audience about the topics raised in the play.
