Security of Nuclear Material in Transport

This WINS International Best Practice Guide identifies best practices and lessons learned from operational experience gained during the transport of nuclear material that may lead to high radiological consequences if subjected to sabotage during transport (so called Category I and II nuclear material).

This Guide also contains a Self-Assessment Questionnaire that can be used to answer questions about different aspects of the secure transportation of nuclear material and how it is implemented at your organisation. The results of the Self-Assessment Questionnaire can then be applied to the five-level Maturity Scale in the Guide.
