WINS held the Roundtable on Enabling the Next Generation of Radiological Security Specialists on 28 April 2026.

The overall objective of the roundtable was to encourage and support the participation of early-career professionals by inviting subject matter experts who are enthusiastic about sharing their knowledge and mentoring. As young professionals enter fields where the safety and security of radioactive sources need to be assured, it is important that they understand professional development options available to them to advance their competence in radioactive source security management.
